Look
for when some of the big questions of life will be answered.
33 Things which have passed, and hidden things
which no man knew, things of the earth, by which it was made, and the purpose
and the end thereof—
34 Things most precious, things that are
above, and things that are beneath, things that are in the earth, and upon the
earth, and in heaven.
Doctrine & Covenants
101:32-34
So
when Jesus Christ returns to the earth, He will reveal some of the big mysteries.
Those verses practically mention questions like: How do dinosaurs fit
into God’s plan? How old is the earth and how was it created? How did the
Universe come into being? What parts of the theory of evolution are true and
which are false? When the Lord returns, He
will share the answers to those big questions, and we are going to slap a hand
against our head and say, “A-ha, now I get it! That is so cool.”
Today’s Takeaway:
Right now, we don’t know it all. We imagine,
speculate, and theorize about a lot of things, but we currently don’t know many
things. We should keep speculating and
learning, but not be so foolish as to assume we have it all figured out. God will one day fill in all the missing pieces. Isn’t it great to know the Lord has some big
insights and surprises in store for us?
