Our Charge

What are the things we are to teach and preach?

 And let them journey from thence preaching the word by the way, saying none other things than that which the prophets and apostles have written, and that which is taught them by the Comforter through the prayer of faith.

Doctrine & Covenants 52:9

As teachers at home or church, it is easy to start teaching our thoughts and feelings. But we can’t let ourselves get side-tracked. We are to teach what the ancient and modern prophets have given us as the Lord has “taught them by the Comforter”. There is a saying that teaches this perfectly in my mind:
